Rust is an underused colour for prayer scarves and the reason is probably that it is hard to dye evenly. Ours is a warm, slightly burnt orange with a zigzag running through it in a deeper tone — enough motion that the scarf looks alive when it is spread out, not so much that it competes with whatever is on the floor.

The palette suits autumn and late afternoon; several customers buy it as a set with the cream and burgundy weave, since the two share a brown undertone rather than clashing.

Light weave, 131 cm square, finished with a narrow hem so the zigzag runs cleanly to the edge.
