A diamond weave — the grid you see on Gulf prayer scarves — and one that survives being folded and unfolded every day. From across the room it reads as texture; up close the shapes are crisp, with the dark ground carrying the lines and the light yarn keeping them from going muddy.

At 131 cm square it is large enough to sit over the shoulders during salah and light enough to fold into a glovebox without creasing badly. It doubles as a shoulder cover on an air-conditioned flight, which is how most of ours leave the house.

Woven and finished in our own family factory, then sold direct.

Material: A light prayer-scarf weave with the diamond woven in, not printed over.
